The insulin response to Dairy is greater than it should be for the same glucose rise.
Now What?
Dr Davis and the glucose meter is good, but with dairy, the glucose meter is not picking up the story with respect to insulin. This is another surrogate measurement issue. Is this why dairy product seems to also be addicting? Just like nuts, and carbohydrates?
More evidence that I have a over production of insulin problem.
Rigorous Honesty, in the search of recovery from gross obesity. Mainly opinion, not advice. Some speculation, some errors, some fiction. Sugar, grain and processed products are not food. Omega 6 oil and dairy should be mainly avoided.
did you read today's post on Dr. Briffa's blog? he talks about LC for acne, but moves on specifically to dairy products -- interesting. certainly, dairy is problematic for a lot of us!
ReplyDeleteDr Peter Attia has declared war on insulin.
ReplyDeleteHowever, he often starts his day with a whopping amount of whey protein, which is very insulinogenic (and glucagonogenic).
Things that make you go "Hmm".
