The speed of digestion and absorption comes into hunger, Cooked food digest quicker. So do ground foods. Perhaps even well chewed foods. Does this impact weight? Does this also effect the time to satiation? You bet. The solution? Metered meal. Go away. Work at something we enjoy and are engrossed in until it is time for something else. Driven by the clock and a continuous stream of activity or functions, not involving food.
Such is the life of the physical caused craving person.
Rigorous Honesty, in the search of recovery from gross obesity. Mainly opinion, not advice. Some speculation, some errors, some fiction. Sugar, grain and processed products are not food. Omega 6 oil and dairy should be mainly avoided.
Depending on what food we eat does determine how quickly we want to eat again.Of course if we become absorbed in our work the need for food does go away ......

i'll never forget that study quoted by J Stanton in his "a calorie is not a calorie" series, in which the same quantity of the same kind of food was more fattening to the rodents eating it, if the food was in powdered form instead of large chunks....
